Teresa Weber is not only a dreamer, but a doer. It was her idea to start a family-owned dog daycare & boarding facility and she didn't stop until it became a reality back in the fall of 2016.

Teresa's mom, who passed a year before Dog's Retreat opened, was Teresa's biggest supporter and shared her dream of a family-owned doggy daycare. She was the wind in Terea's sail.

Teresa's handsome son, Jesse, graduated from Siena College in 2019 and is now co-owner of Dogs Retreat, working full time with his mom to manage the business and supervise the dogs.
Jesse loves the family business and it shows!

Sean has been at Dogs Retreat since December of 2021. He graduated from SUNY Albany in 2019 with a bachelors degree. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as spending time with the dogs!

Teresa's niece, Lynnette, grew up in the Capital Region and still resides here with her family. She is a graduate of SUNY Cortland. Lynnette is definitely a dog lover through and through... and enjoys her time with new furry friends at Dog's Retreat.

Teresa couldn't have opened Dog's Retreat without the support of her husband, Joe, as well as daughters Haley and Emily along with Jesse. Both girls help her in keeping Dog's Retreat social media active, while Joe supervised the initial construction and ongoing renovations and expansion of the business.
